Thanks everyone for your welcomes LOL I am looking to post something today to be critiqued of course to search out any of your writings as well. I've hit a bit of a wall lately. Self doubt is a %^&*()!

I'm a lot braver than what you probably saw on GW. I was just so shocked at the venom on that first post LOL but I know that there are usually just a few bad apples that ruin it for everyone else so here I am

Well done. Just ignore the nasty posts. It is nice here I think. It will take a bit of time to get to know people. Come and dance on the lawn and have tea with, I think it is Fergal.

Glad to have you here Rhode... just get used to sifting through the rubbish to get to the good stuff and enjoy your time here. The majorit are a nice and interesting bunch, and there are some brilliant writers here too. Enjoy!

*sigh* Hello Rhode Island Girl - lovely to have new people here. The site really is about exactly what you describe, a chance for people who write to have an audience for their work rather than writing something that sits in a desk drawer or on a computer file and never gets read. The more you put into abc, the more you will get out of it. There are loads of new writers here who would be very pleased to get an email from you with some feedback and would do the same in return. What sort of things do you write?

Welcome Rhode Island Girl...37 is not too old, I'm 36 and have only just started living! I've been using the site for just about a year now, and if you stick around during the odd times you'll get the benefit of the great times, which are really very worthwhile.
