Happy St Patrick's Day
'Faol saol agat, gob fliuch, agus bás in Éirinn.'
[%sig%]
I had a pint of Magners outside O'neills in the lovely sunshine at lunch....isn't it just a gorgeous day Londoners?!
Is it still running Tony?
It did come second - but I was on for a win.
got to be a good day tomorrow now.
I've had two winners so far - but I am now down overall.
Saw a headline "Russian Flyer Lands Queen Mother" and I thought it was a Mississippi fantasy come true, or maybe a new Drew Gummerson story but, alas, it was just a racing result from Cheltenham.
Well that's a disappointment.
As is the news that greasy turd Brown is going to spend OUR money on a statue of the 'nations fave granny'! Yeah right, she was a nasty, vicious, vindictive old bag. They say the wicked never die and she was certainly out to prove it.
An Irish Blessing
May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields,
And may God hold you in the palm of his hand!
May God be with you and bless you:
May you see your children's children.
May you be poor in misfortune,
Rich in blessings.
May you know nothing but happiness
From this day forward.
May the road rise up to meet you
May the wind be always at your back
May the warm rays of sun fall upon your home
And may the hand of a friend always be near.
May green be the grass you walk on,
May blue be the skies above you,
May pure be the joys that surround you,
May true be the hearts that love you.
May you always have the luck of the Irish!
May Liverpool Echo win the 2.00 and Baracouda the 3.15 at Cheltenham - then I'll know that Paddy's Day works.
Shamrocks crossed.
That's one that got away. Shelailaigh's crossed for the 3.15.
