Either packed (student nights) or empty, never "just right". I once arranged to meet a friend there (his choice) on a Friday evening at 8pm. We were the only people there! it is a good venue, not many of the pubs you mention have an upstairs bar for performance....drinks are a little pricy, and the atmosphere is great... i should be there btw...

What a beautiful day! I was sitting on the tele watching the couch last night and J mentioned the obvious. "How can you travel to London and attend an event when you're mentally ill, you're visiting a shrink and you're work is being veerry good to you?" She's right, I couldn't possibly make this event. I'm too ill.

Its a night where we all get together, read a bit, drink like its the last night on earth and then fall over. That's about right isn't it everyone?

My shrink would say it's "good therapy. And whats therpay? It's just a word. We might aswell call it a **scratches head** a chair leg." But my employer would say it's breach of company sickness policy.

I did wonder about reading, but I'm dead shy me. (yeah, right).

The cost is painful for us non-londoners isn't it? I'm definitely going but haven't even thought about accom or transport yet. *brown spaniel-eyes look*
