Worst pop clichés
These rhymes sound so tired and lazy, but you still hear them. What are your most hated pop clichés?
together..............forever
tender................sweet surrender
make it...............take it/fake it
make up...............break up/wake up
baby..................and I don't mean maybe
dance.................take a chance/romance
Which station you been listening to Hox? You don't get songs like that on Heart 106.2.
Geez, you've just denigrated my entire music collection. I'm heartbroken...
hand....understand
air.........just don't care
**ation.......**ation
Des'Ree's song Life must surely be a contender for the Laziest Rhymes Used in a Song award...
"I'm afraid of the dark,
'specially when I'm in a park..."
"I don't want to see a ghost,
it's a sight that I fear most
I'd rather have a piece of toast..."

love and glove
heart and start
baby and can't you see
Actually don't get me started on this - it makes me get every so angry.
*grumbles* lazy bloody lyricists.
whip and strip
lash and cash
restraint and faint
cuff and enough
....they just don't write 'em like that any more.
