Mini ~Sagas

I haven't written one of these for almost 20 years until today. Oooh they are difficult aren't they, but such a useful tool, especially for somebody for whom long -windedness is a major problem!

I agree they're a useful tool. Yet even they're long-winded compared to some things. Try writing a film pitch, and you'll see what I mean. Anything longer that about 8 words.... pass on it! PS the pitch for 'Alien' was 'Jaws in Space'. See what I mean?
What's a mini-saga? www.fabulousmother.com
It's is a story that must have exactly 50 words. Not 49, not 51! It must have a beginning, middle and end, so you can't just take a 50 word chunk of something longer. jude "Cacoethes scribendi" http://www.judesworld.net

Just posted one, 2Lou - if you're interested. 'West To East'.
I enjoyed this but isn't a mini-saga-poem a bit cheaty? I guess they don't have to be prose but I thought they are traditionally in prose format. jude "Cacoethes scribendi" http://www.judesworld.net

Oh, I enjoyed that too, Alan. Blimey, sounds difficult, Jude. Could be my only chance of getting something started *and* finished though. ~ www.fabulousmother.com
