Breaking News From Manhattan: Please read and respond

No story here, just saw it on the news. Possible explosion in manhattan has created several large and dangerous steam ruptures on 41st. Unconfirmed reports of injures and possibly several deaths. Anyone know more?

ConEd successfully shut down steam supply. Not a terrorist act. Speculation that nearby buildings may have structural damage.
4,5, and 6 train service suspended. Traffic at a standstill. Any fellow New Yorkers reading this, you probably won't be getting home any time soon.
Final notice. One confirmed dead, 20-25 with various degrees of injuries (burns, bruises, etc...). Asbestos may have been released into the air as a result of the aging NYC steam system. If you were exposed, remove and bag your clothes and shower as soon as possible. ConEd will release air quality test results as soon as they are available. Thanks for reading this, if anyone actually did. Ed, feel free to lock or delete the post as necessary.

Well, since this is still here: Officials have confirmed the presence of asbestos dust at the scene, but at levels not considered dangerous. The air is not heavily contminated since the steam and water released kept dust levels low. People who were exposed are reminded to wash clothes that came in contact with the yellowish powder or "mud" to ensure there is no residue. On a side note, the initial steam blast went higher than the Chrysler Building.
