Spot the Intro

New game, as I am feeling glum....

I recently wrote a new poem, which contained within it, the first line of a very well known song (well spotted dogstar)

So, here we go.....spot the song from the first line of the lyric.....

"She packed my bags last night pre-flight"

easy..come on....

I think you guys are inventing your own games. The answer to Liana's "Hey pretty baby with the high heels on", is "The Way you make me feel" by Michael Jackson.

So my go (spent ages trying to find one that Stormy might concievably get). "She's not a girl who misses much. " Two bands, one possibly in Stormy's era who were longlived and very successful, and one in the mid-nineties who were shortlived and bloody cool. Said girl was also "well-acquainted to the touch of a velvet hand, like a lizard on a window-pane"

(The song was Happiness is a Warm Gun - wasn't aware that Amos had butchered it in a 'I listened to too much Kate Bush growing up' style)

despite one or two rather good covers on her latest album she does a mighty fine job of butchering lennon's ode to mother. yes indeedy. am not awake today, hence forgetting to actually say WHAt the song was...

Reviewing this thread, I realise that nobody has asked Liana why she is glum or tried to cheer her up. So - hey Liana, why are you feeling glum ? Cheer up love. "Hey there you with the sad face / come up to my place and live it up" (Lowers the tone, but I could never stand the Velvet Underground et al - give me pop rather than 'art' rock any day)

Hate the Velvets? How can you say that? They rocked! Nothing like a bit of Lou Reed to kick back to..."Heroin", "Jesus", "Candy says" are da best ones. That Nico was a strange gal though. Pack loves the 80's...I knew he had dodgy taste.
