It appears the Radio1 DJ Chris Moyles is a friend of Messrs Cook & Ball, the main players in the current 'cock & balls' story gracing the dailys at the moment. On his radio programme yesterday he apparently indulged in an outburst of friendship support. This took the form of a slagging directed at Daniel Peppe blaming him for the demise of his friends marriage. In true Vartis style I'll cut and paste the relevant part here. (Actually I'll have to type it out verbatim)

I quote;

'Radio1 DJ Chris Moyles was less charitable in an amazing personal attack yesterday. He branded Peppe as "monstrous" on his afternoon show heard by millions of listeners.

Moyles ranted: 'Let's face it, he's got to have a good personality or he's got to be hung like a horse because he's got a face like a Crimewatch photofit. If I had kids I'd put his picture on the top of the fireplace to keep them away from the fire..... It's not looking good for Zoe and Norman. I hope they sort it all out because it's a dreadful mess.'

I'm glad he doesn't have any kids because he's not fit to be a father. He's obviously intellectually deficient to arrive at the conclusion that when a married woman (or man) starts a relationship with a third party it's because they are being led astray by an evil homebreaker of Svengali-like proportions. The break-up of Cook & Balls relationship has nothing to do with Peppe at all. It's to do with Ball having changed feelings about Cook and moving on. The 'other' person is ALWAYS made a scapegoat for a failed relationship when in truth they are the result of the break-up not the cause of it. For Moyles to make derogatory remarks about Peppe shows what a @!#$ he is, if he was any judge of character at all he would be looking rather harder at his 'friend' Zoe, who admitted she had started the relationship before she had spoken to Cook about it. As to whether Peppe is less than handsome I suggest he clean his glasses and take a closer look at her too. Which ever way you look at it, she ain't no oil painting either.

I am now going to retire to the fall-out shelter before the 'pot and kettle' brigade gather their loins.

...nor are they particularly adept at reading between them either.....:)) Moyles has some kind of TV show on C5 that is available here in Warsaw (oh lucky us). I watched it once, almost all the way through.....that was enough for several lifetimes...

He's left that now. It'll be Live with Christian O'Donnell (a DJ with xfm) when it restarts. Apparently Moyles and Chris Evans (ginger producer) had a falling out ...

Hey Missus, good to see you've remained so restrained in your editorials babe. I don't know who you're talking about but I promise not to like him from now on. You're right the third party is always blamed, and often unfairly, but that's just natural instinct. It's either that or accept our own flaws and, well we're not that great at doing that on the whole. Anyway i'm with ya all the way... pooh pooh Moyles, whoever you are!!
