ABCtales Get-together in London Next Wednesday
Next Wednesday, June 18th, is our London get-together at the Wheatsheaf pub in Bloomsbury (25 Rathbone Place, W1T 1JB) from 7pm.
It may be one of the best we’ve had in a long while, and it’s featuring a long list of some of my favourite authors on the site – include Grover, John Shade, RJF, MJG, Peter Kennedy and Lavadis - as well as a reading from Shaun Attwood, the very engaging (and entertaining) author of the books Party Time and Prison Time.
We’ll be expanding on our traditional reading format to celebrate the launch of My Baby Shot Me Down - an outstanding anthology of women authors from ABCtales - and our last set of readings will be a fast-paced round of readings from some of the authors in the anthology. We'll hear from Yume1254 (Clarissa Angus), Laura, Deborah (Bee), Maggyvaneijk and more - it’ll be talent in short, powerful bursts.
As always, we’ll ask attendees make a £5 donation to our charity of choice, The Railway Children.
I hope a few of you can make it out and enjoy a late and light summer’s evening filled with old friends and good literature. We’ll look forward to seeing you there,
Luke and the ABCtales team
