ABCtales January newsletter
Dear All,
Welcome to the first ABCtales Newsletter of 2007 - and we've got some really exciting news for you.
We have a new sister site at http://www.booktribes.com which makes the world of ABCtales complete. Booktribes is for readers what ABCtales is for writers. It creates an ideal online community for you to share your reading experience, it allows you to discuss books and writers with your fellow readers and it will give you some great recommendations of what to read next.
As an ABCtales member you are automatically a member of Booktribes. To log on all you have to do is add @abctales.com to your username and use the same password. Your private details have not been handed over in order to do this - it is possible because both sites are built using the same software.
It's early days still with booktribes but we are depending on you to help populate the site and create the community - just as you have with ABCtales. What's more, it's still all free!
We're always interested in your feedback and will welcome your commments on the booktribes experience.
ABCtales itself continues to grow and grow. If you haven't been over for a while then check out some of the great new writing we've had at the Story of the Week (http://www.abctales.com/node/546293) or the Poem of the Week (http://www.abctales.com/node/546292). The Discussion Forums are as robust as ever and one of our very long term members, spack
(http://www.abctales.com/user/spack) has just announced that he's been given a major publishing deal with Hamish Hamilton. We're all delighted at Joe's great news and he's kindly giving his ABCtales membership some of the credit for helping to develop his writing. The message to us all is clear.
Please get on over to Booktribes and post your current reading and your favourite titles - and enjoy your recommendations!
All the very best,
Tony Cook and the team at http://www.abctales.com
