ABCtales Reading in London Next Wednesday

Our next ABCtales reading night is just around the corner – ABCtales will be meeting upstairs at the Wheatsheaf pub in Bloomsbury (25 Rathbone Place, W1T 1JB) next Wednesday, March the 26th. Readings will start from 7pm and will feature Stan, Bee, Akanbi, TFH, BarelyBlackFrancis, Rhiannonw, Robert of the Queen Mary University Creative Writing Society, Aidan Cottrell-Boyce, Joe and Elsie Katz– a lot of great, fresh talent.

This is a great chance to take a break, have some fun, get together with old friends and new and discuss writing (or anything else). It's also, plainly put, incredible value for quality entertainment - we ask attendees make a £5 donation to our charity of choice, The Railway Children. We’ll look forward to seeing you there – if you have any questions or comments, get in touch directly with me directly or raise your voice in our forums.

Also, if you haven’t already, have a look at the first in a series of interviews, features and guest-blogs with authors ABC is now running on our homepage. After starting out writing on ABC, Christine Hammill has just last week had her debut book, B is for Breast Cancer, published with Little Brown. It's an incredible story, and I highly recommend you have a read. Later this week we’ll be posting another interview, this time with Paul Klay, a fabulous writer who’s just released his debut collection of short stories, Deployment. He talked to us about his experience in Iraq, his writing process and how he ended up published.

All the best,
Luke Neima and the ABCtales team.
