Ursula Hegi

This author, I learned to love, by reading her most recent - I can't remember the name of it - but it kind of continueson with her other stories.

I liked:

Floating in my Mother's Palm

Stones in the River

What I like about this writing is the view it gives of the wartimes - it brings home to the reader that all German people weren't bad guys - most of the ordinary people that lived in those places didn't want to hurt others - her stories really make you see

I wish I could think of the name of that last book she wrote
