Nets re-posted.
well if you're doing requests eddie, how about putting Shopping Forecast back?
oh, go on
oh, OK then, Robert, since you ask so nicely.
Thankyou
thanks eddie!
shopping forecast is the bees knees..have just read it...excellent, I am sending it to my friend.
*chuffed at eddie's wit and wordplay*
this thread's looking a little thread-bare.
mmm... how can we drum up some more customers?
You have drummed up another fan. Thought you could shut me up, hahaha. You'll never get rid of me. Anyway Eddie I love your stuff. You do in fact rule!
After that you will be on the front page tomorrow Eddie!!!!
YUP, i'd have to agree : Shopping Forecast is one of the funniest things I've read in ages.
It would be even more so, read out loud by the readers of the late night Shipping Forecast. With appropriate pauses.
Great stuff Mr Gibbons.
Mr Gibbons wishes it to be known that he has never at any time actively sought to 'get rid' of any fellow contributors to this site, nor has he tried to shut anyone up. He would like it to be known that he is a believer in the democracy of writing and upholds the right of all contributors to freedom of speech. He may, however, from time to time express an opinion on the content of the site, as do other contributors.
Further, our client wishes it also to be known that the only thing he rules is his tongue, and he wishes others would do likewise.
Mr Gibbons will not enter into any further correspondence on this matter.

Dear Dogplop (or Dunne),
I have this little matter of a divorce coming up...
Eddie's poems stand alone, like a llama.
It would be nice to include more references to matters of the lower variety, namely, vegetation and dew. Please. In future that is. After June 16th. Oh that's today!
*looks unduly pleased*
yes he's a brilliant poet, love his work too, what happened to "man on the moon"?got to get "stations of the heart"
welcome aboard dears ...
(after spending hours trying to formulate a gracious response)
Thanks!
Think Shopping Forecast is brilliant too. Thankyou for putting it on the site
I think his poetry's brilliant, too (where's it gone? Looked just now and no Eddie Gibbons on site) But last time I read them there were NO cherries. Is this because all his stuff's the pineapple of perfection?
thankyou.i now have a full moonheart as opposed to a previous quarter.this is for eddie.
Dear Puzzled,
I see the cheque got through... more poems just posted. Ta for your kind words.
thanks for kind words, and by the way,
robert and myrtle and fergus and fey.
are you related to:
maggie and milly and molly and may
went down to the beach(to play one day)
and maggie discovered a shell that sang
so sweetly she couldn't remember her troubles, and
milly befriended a stranded star
whose rays five languid fingers were;
and molly was chased by a horrible thing
which raced sideways while blowing bubbles:and
may came home with a smooth round stone
as small as a world and as large as alone.
For whatever we lose(like a you or a me)
it's always ourselves we find in the sea

I have read some of Eddie Gibbons work. There is no need to worry, Eddie, cherries are worthless. But wit is the lowest form of humour.
Eddie can't afford me.
So buy the Ostrich instead.
After all, it performs the same way as the 'pool defenders do in free kick situations.
As our leader Tone says:
Let me say to you...
Cherie is worthless...
Yer know?
I told you Mrytle should be put down.
myrtle?
bloody toshiba keyboard.
Well I have reaD some of eddie's poems. *hicc*
They were good.
yes, but where's "Nets"gone?
