Hi,

Those lovely people at Transworld have come through again, this time with an interview with Jane Wenham-Jones, author of Raising the Roof (out next month).

Jane has written for almost every national women's magazine. Raising the Roof is her first novel and is based on her first-hand experiences of property renovation and letting.
It's highly recommended by Jill Mansell.

So, questions wanted please...

Were you a freelance writer before a novelist? If so, would you recommend this as a way of starting out in the business before approaching publishers.
