why can't you lot argue properly? calling some one a w an ke r is not a counter proposition. it is called, in layman's terms "losing the argument" which is what I try and tell my hormonal 11 and a half yr old (she has trained me to be exact) daughter and 13 yr old son (yeah? right?) Calling Stuart names will not make him go away. It simply reinforces his opinion of the site, whether he is joking or not. In all the many arguments I have been involved in/ created/won/lost on this site I don't think I have ever called someone a name. I have made some look very foolish, for which I occasionally feel guilty - but only on Sundays - and have looked daft myself when foot was in mouth (sh1t happens and I don't mind) - but I don't think I have ever won or driven someone away by calling them names. in fact, the only time I swore *directly* at someone in the forum, I sent an email by way of apology 30 mins later and also posted to that effect. Stuart is less harmless than many before him and many that are still here. If you don't like it find a constructive way to put him down, like Andrew has done, and not resort to name simple name calling. BTW. when Stuart calls Karl a 'puff', I think he means 'puff' and not 'poof' which everyone knows is how you spell michael barrymore (so sue me MB). personally I find this a very amusing sideshow and I am sure Karl can deal with it. It is nothing compared to the what has been said in the past in the forum, much of which was directed at our female writers. that may sound defensively sexist, ie the caveman approach, but i do find it repulsive when men pick on women and call them c***s or other names. it is a term that women find most derogatory and is used my men who are mentally weaker and afraid of the power of women. you can call me a C*** anytime you like folks, I work in the construction industry and once you have been threatened with a beating by way of baseball bat (3 times) and, on two other occasions, a very sharp trowel adjacent to eye, very little phases you afterwards, trust me. apart from the dry cleaning bill. so, cut the crap and ladies, please don't shout at me (i'm scared)
