A couple of random stories I had a look at and highly recommend:

'Sixties Girls' by Helen
Excellent, touching and funny poem, with a simple but effective rhyme scheme. Nostalgic pacy piece of poetry.

'Insulated Conductor' by Ed_Bruce
This is a brilliant short story, with verve and a real street wise voice. Very individual and unique. Dry humour and lots of east end swagger. Don't know if the author is a genuine east ender, but a little criticism is that the use of rhyming slang felt a little forced, almost out of place. Apart from that, really first class. Read this guy!
