Trash by Irvine Welsh

Well, I just had to read something by the guy. It took some time to get used to all that phonetic Scottish spelling and the slang, but I must admit that it was quite good....my only suggestion to Irvine would be to make it shorter...I don't think he needed soooo much build up to get the point across about the main character.

Still, I don't think I'll be reading any more of his stuff. There are too many other much better writers out there. He strikes me as a bit of a gimmick writer, or one-trick pony. That's ok if you only read one, but more than that I think would get stale very quickly.
