Chooselife's Unofficial Story/Poem Of The Week
I've been meaning to do this for ages: pick something posted this week or that I've thought about in the last seven days.
This one has been around for ages and although Robert (or Bert if you frequent the Gen Diss forum) isn’t allowed out to play often (I reckon Fish gets jealous), when he does, he posts such memorable lines.
A Song Called You by Robert:
[%sig%]
it is a beautiful poem, it's been around a while nearly 1500 reads, and i think it's been praised in the threads before, well worth a second time...
Yes, well worth several reads. Masterful.
But I issue a challenge to the bert: time to repost THAT poem.
sorry bert can't answer you this evening ... he is ironing ... but says many thanks for the kind words ... he will be writing another poem sometime in 2005 and hopes you will enjoy it ...
(i lied ... in reality he is playing a game on the x box and got 1 out of 10 in shooting practise)
I think it's good he's doing shooting practice, a man in his position.
By the way, that is a great poem. It's not easy to use musical metaphors, but he carries it off with a simple elegance there.
x box? tell him to get a ps2, much better....you can put of doing stuff for hours on that...
does he take ironing in btw?
X-box is da dogz bollox. Much more versatile
The poem was luvvverly as well btw.
That's 'cos Bert's an accomplished musician in his own right.
Well, he'll be tickling the old Ivory tonight ...
Boom bloody boom
