Toilet Paper is Next!

Well, theatre of the absurd...The United States...

Seems like the mental giants in the Florida legislature have figured it out. Tax Toilet Paper.

I recently took a poke at Great Britain about taxing chewing gum, but this one is even better.

I swear, politicians have to be the dumbest form of life on the planet.

I do believe the lowest of low is taxing water. I mean....?

Well, taxing water isn't out of the question. We call them Usage Fees here in Colorado. You see, we've been in a serious drought for the past several years and they've enacted "heavy use" fees. Same thing as a tax. Now the local politicians are complaining that we've saved so much water that they aren't getting enough revenue. The drought has subsided, but the mountain reservoir's are still a little below average. People forget, Denver is a desert environment, at mile in altitude. Our water comes from mountain snowpack.
