Grace
Playing 'Grace' by Jeff Buckley tonight. A bottle of red (two for six quid), a bowl of green olives and a packet of Silk-Cut. There are some thick vanilla candles flickering in the drafty room, the maroon rug on the bare floorboards feels warm to the friction of my bare feet.
I'm content, trawling the web looking for a dancing bear.
What are you all up to?
hi ralph , im roxie
What are you doing Roxanne? What the scene?
Gosh, all you neglected to mention was the gold chain twinkling in the mat of hair on your chest, exposed by the casual drape of your silk robe.
just chatting nothing really
I cant affored silk, its satin!
terry toweling
It's not a medallion either. It's one of the chocalate coins that you put on the Christmas tree.
And the mat of hair on your chest? Is that real or one of those Austin Powers rugs?
Someone find me a dancing bear please.
Its my cat!
things are a bit crazy
They are indeed Roxie. I haven't got a cat.
LOL! Twice!
Whats going on out there?
What are we drinking, wearing, smoking or listening to?
What does the weekend hold in store? I'm doing my accounts and writing my final piece of work for my creative writing course.
ive got two trixe and fugde !!
That's 'nothing' on all counts, Ralph.
*runs to turn on the heater*
You have two twix's and some fudge! My, what a sweet tooth you have.
I am dissapointed in the state or 'Walnut Whips' these days if I can be so candid. In olden times you used to get a walnut embedded in the bottom of the chocalate, as well as one posing like a excavated brain at the top.
The world spins and change hurts, even in the world of confectionary.
Ah, the satin glide of your voice matches the soft sheen of your robe.
i have TWO cats ONE CALLED TRIXE AND THE OTHER CALLED FUGDE you idiot ralph
Don't even get me started on 'Fry's Turkish Delight'. It's pure scandal.
I'm considering growing a beard.
Oh the shame of it.
dont talk to me .
You libertine, you! I too am considering growing a beard, or perhaps some sideburns. I'd like the long pointy kind that Midge Ure used to have (and may still have!) back in the 80s.
Unfortunately, consider is all I can do.
Ahh Midge, he fed the world with Sir Bob. No wonder there was a walnut shortage. They all went to Africa.
If I grow a beard, I'll look like dis-spirited man.
Where is that razor?
For shaving, thats all. Dont panic.
Then whoever enters your vanilla-scented candlelit den can run one well-manicured finger along the smooth ridge of your jaw, no doubt, without it making an unseemly and decidedly unsuave rasping sound.
*wink*
'choking on olive'
Where;s that Kenny G album?
'Opens second bottle of wine and dreams of Cardiff.'
