Super Cool Dreams

You know, ever since we did that thread where people described their best dreams, I've been having *amazing* dreams. Really vivid, great fun - occasionally coherent! Last night's was mostly a horror movie. I was with a group of friends inside a big house, and one of us got killed. Then the phone went and a voice said one of us had to go and pull the curtain cord twice, and another had to go and take a bottle out the fridge, otherwise we'd all be killed. And we knew one of the things was probably booby trapped, but we had to do it. It was really freaky working out who would have to go. And then it turned out neither thing was booby trapped, but the person who was selfish and just tried to sneak out the front door got their head cut off with a big piece of cheese wire.
Right at the end, I worked out that the killer was the ghost of a young boy who'd been a science genius. Those of us who were left discovered we'd gained psychokenetic powers. I went up into the sky to temporarily escape the ghost, and it was a beautiful sunny day and the grass below was really green. I met two girls in the sky - one of them was extremely fit. She said they were going to Australia but if I needed help I should just call for them. She said that's what people with these powers do for each other. I asked what her name was so I'd know who to call for, and she said she was called Rabbit. Then I woke up.
If I ever meet that girl in real life I'm going to ask her to marry me. And she'll probably pepper spray me.

What do you think it meant? What does the village store represent in your subconscious? What does Jon Stone represent? What does Michael Stipe represent? What do biscuits represent? I'm not taking the piss. I reckon most dreams can be usefully interpreted, as long as the dreamer takes an active role in the interpretation. You just need to view the constituent parts as symbols rather than literal representations.
Umm... how did you feel when Peter Kay told you off? Embarrassed? Annoyed? Indifferent?
I used to have recurrent dreams about old friends I haven't seen in ages; they'd always do the same thing in the dream (like, say, be sitting in a chair, although the venues would change) and I would always be soooo happy to see them. I'm sure they were astral visitations or something. I haven't had them in awhile, sadly. I also have dreams about stuffing myself with chocolate chip cookies until I'm absolutely sick; I think these are analogous with me having too much on my plate (so to speak) and needed a long solo holiday to a tropical (or hell, even Mediterranean) paradise. Pesky, perhaps you feel like you are not 'in the driver's seat' in some part of your life? Doing something for someone else which you take no pleasure in (the marshmallow thingmies)...? Something which is 'supposed to' be 'sweet', but isn't? God, I love dreams. Better than the cinema.
