The smell of putty by Parker

The last few lines caught me because they perfectly describe a beloved uncle of mine. Beautifully put. *sniff*

I agree Lou this is beautifully written, came on to flag this one.... http://www.abctales.com/node/551090 Parker, your poetry is wonderful, almost every piece strikes a chord. This one, 'Dust' in particular made me feel really sad as I am already fretting about the day my eldest goes out into the big wide world, leaving me with nothing but his toenail clippings. I hope these get the cherry recognition they deserve.
Both lovely poems, the 1st one reminded me of my father, the 2nd of my daughter.

I didnt like the poem but I love the smell of putty. I can smell it now.

If you are going to say that you didn't like the poem Yan at least tell us why?
Just not my thang.
