Ever thought of having your book translated?

Dear colleagues!

I am not only a writer but also a professional translator specializing in fiction. That is why I wonder if any of the people here have ever thought of having their novels or stories translated to other languages so they could be published in other countries? Does this idea seem interesting to anybody?
I, for one, translate from English into Russian (and I live in Russia, too). I'd like to note that most people here in Russia like reading VERY much, and there are 150 millions of them - just think of it! So if you would like to try having your books published abroad, why not begin with Russia? First of all, of course, you have to get your novel translated into Russian - that's what I can help you with. If interested, just get in touch with me.
Moreover, once you have your book translated, I could help you get it published in Russia, since I have lasting relationships with many Russian publishers.

Again, I just wonder if this idea seems interesting to anyone.
So I'll appreciate any replies or suggestions.
