Kitchens
Two of my colleagues here at work are discussing kitchen renovations.
'... the granite worktop will cost 7 grand on it's own...'
'... we've budgeted for 5...'
'... the doors are solid wood...'
'... if you have a bigger kitchen you need more units...'
'... you could get a kitchen planner to design it...'
'... yes, they have laptops...'
'... have you got an island?'
'... no, not big enough...'
'... this guys kitchens are like gold dust...'
'...you can't get much of a kitchen for under 10 grand these days...'
'... he's the best kitchen designer out side London...'
I'm not sure if I am going to make it through today.
I'm going to need more than one reefer tonight.
Good tv tonight.
Good.
aw seems I owe you an apology, thought you were the cleaner. Sorry, dinner lady!
These people are mad! The best way to get a decent kitchen is to hire a carpenter, design it yourself and leave him/her to it. You never spend more than a couple of grand and you get a kitchen just how you want it. Kitchen designers are a complete rip-off - just tell them that and the day will go a lot smoother!
In other parts of the world they care about kitchens...
I agree with Tony. Basically, no matter what you tell the "designer" they will just turn around and hand it over to a carpenter anyway, so you might as well go directly to the source. Just be sure they are not suggesting unnecessary plumbing changes. That would be expensive.
Oh man...
I must tell you about my boss and the air conditioner one day...
load of wind!!!!!!!!
One word: corian.
Not granite!
