New Writer
Hello all,
I'm new here and recently uploaded twelve stories under author name 'scatts' in one set called 'Humble Beginnings'.
I am very interested in people reading and commenting on my work, otherwise why upload them, right?
Two seem to have been cherry picked on the way in but I'm not sure how meaningful that is.
I will be taking the time to read and comment on others work also although I feel more qualified to comment on anything other than poetry/verse.
I shall start with any who comment on my work and go from there.
Looking forward to hanging around for a while!

Welcome - the best thing to do is to critique other writers and then they will critique you. Send them an e-mail about their work and they will often respond.

Sorry. I should add that as a new guy I'm also interested in any tips on what to do and how to do it in ABCtales. Also, locations of any similar sites of help to budding writers.
So far my work has been limited to the short story type. These come from a private web community I belong to where one of the forums is a kind of writing competition. The site itself is nothing to do with writing. These works have at one time or another been displayed on that site going back about one year.
I am working on a novel at the moment. Storyline / plot is fixed and I start writing chapter one this week!
