Poetry Slam! Who wants some!

Last Thursday there were some fantastic performers at the ABC event at Extra Time.

On Saturday 14th of June at the UCL Bloomsbury many of those performers will be appearing again alongside hundreds of young people in the London wide Poetry Slam 2003.

The performers that you saw last week have been working with schools all across London for the last few months honing their performance style for competition. This will be a fantastic day and was a complete sell out months ago.

But your man Rafe has five tickets to give away to the first five who wants to be part of something that is amazing. If you have never been to a poetry slam before, then you are really missing something; the atmosphere is like that of a football match. There will be guest appearances as well from some very top people and an after show party.

Mark, could we also have some more ABC publicity please so that I can distribute around the foyers.

If you love poetry and the sprit of community then this is really a must.

I cannot tell you what a massive event this and we are so proud to be involved in what will be an annual event here at the Bloomsbury.
