Voices...

Hi Guys,

Just thought I'd better let you know that if you want to order a copy of Voices from the Web (and I seem to remember that quite a few of you did), the 3 quid discount offer ends on 31st Oct.

I am, however, negotiating with the publisher for an extension (oo-er missus). Still, better safe than sorry, eh?

Here's link to order:

and more info, as always, at:

Over an' out...

Thanks for that, TC - and I agree absolutely. Voices 2 will be shorter (I'm aiming for around 80,000 words) with more attention paid not only to content but also style and format. Still, it was the first time I'd ever attempted anything like that and, all in all, I think it's brilliant value for money. Live and learn, eh? The 'proper' production cover is being launched on 15th November amidst much fanfare and rejoicing. There are a few slight alterations to the cover and the reviews we've had (all excellent, I have to say) will be (abridged) on the back cover and (in full) inside. The authors list will also be on two pages facing each other, rather than on two sep pages. The publisher is also putting together a free e-book containing 2 pieces of prose and 2 of poetry, so's you can sample a taste of the content. Will post link as soon as I have it, or you can keep checking the Boho Press site (). Let you into a badly kept secret - the e-book features the poetry of ABC's very own Henstoat and Barenib (amongt others) so well worth downloading (besides, it's free). Elfy, you can also pay by cheque, see here: or order from any bookshop using the ISBN number, which is: 1-904781-00-4 Cheers, guys, grateful for your support :-) PS. Voices Second Anth is underway... Oh, and thanks, Spag:-)

You shouldn't be, AJ - I made it all perfectly clear on the site. You only had to read it. I do hope you enjoy the book, especially as you are also featured in it.

I'm two thirds though it. Congratulations to all in it and to Andrea for putting it together. It is a good read. There are some real gems in there. I think it's probably too inclusive and only 60% of what's there deserves to be there - and then it would have been one hell of a book - but inclusivity is our theme and so good on you. I know the work and effort that went into creating it so get on out there and buy a copy now - by and large you won't regret it!

Is it available at any high-street book shops? I would try and get it online but no bank has been stupid enough (yet) to strust be with plastic... ;-)
