howdy y'all...I really need feedback on this peice...
It's my senior project, to write the play, and I would also like to have it be good, rather than just done...this is only Act 1 so far, but the rest is coming....anyhoo, I'm just rambling, and what I really need is for people to tell me what needs working on, and what works and so on and so forth...and please be specific...a simple "I liked it" really isn't going to help me much...though I do appreciate any help andybody can give me, becauseI've never written a play before....thanks in advance!

hi aurora, sorry its been ages but ive been quite busy with college essays etc. and to be quite honest im no expert on plays, but i really did enjoy reading yours and would love to see it in an actual production. i think it was cleverly written and does keep the audience interested. Although i found the very start of it when they are all laughin in the park a bit false, maybe start with just them talking or just one of them laughing to make it slightly more realistic. also i found it hard to judge their ages because the altough obviously one at least can drive they do seem to act alot younger eg by playing with sticks etc.
Also on a stage i wonder how you would show that the characters had gotten older would you use older actors or something? How would you make it obvious to the audience?? just a thought
anyway on the whole a very well written script especially as it was your first. well done
hol xxx sorry i cant be of more help but i have never written a play either so really dont know what else to say other than as a reader i really enjoyed it take care
thanks for your feedback...im glad you liked it....and alot of other people had those same comments on it, about the begging seeming a little forced and such....thats on the platter for when i go back over it, but not right yet, otherwise ill never get the rest of it done :)
