Hello, I'm new to the site and am really enjoying it. I haven't written much creative stuff for many years and am just starting again. I have just posted the begining of a short story entitled 'What You'll Probably Never Know' and would appreciate some honest feedback. Thanks in anticipation.

Hi, welcome to the site. I am in no way any kind of accomplished critic. I like your story and felt that maybe with a bit more editing it would become an accompished piece. It reads well and it kept my interest. I wish i could say more but ill try and read again this week and add something else. regards

Thankyou for taking the time. This is a thrilling experience for me to have a virtual critic and my first contact on the site. I'll add more to my story this week. I read some of your pieces and liked them, especially the cherry picked Carrots one ('cherry picked carrots' - am I going mad?). I have three sons of my own, though still in primary school, so I was drawn in by your characters in Gingy Bottles. I am interested in doing a creative writing course myself, but would have to do it either online or in Sheffield very part-time, as I work part-time too. Is your experience of writing courses positive? This site is my first step. Thanks again.

It seems it was you, Stephen D, to whom I wrote recently regarding dreams on the Writing Tips place. Funny that.
