This doesn't do it for me - I find it to be too much information in too little space - and I'm a big fan of Neil's.

Thanks for helpful feedback on a piece previously uncommented-on. This was inspired by a few things I'd seen or read about locally within the space of a few days and is semi-factual. It was an experimental way of presenting several mini-stories none of which I particularly wanted to write on at length and maybe it doesn't work as such. Oh well.

Neil, This would have worked better as a novella. You have more characters in there than most novels.
