I don't know if anyone saw this announcement today. It's on page 8 of the Guardian. 'The Orange prize will announce the shortlist for its 10,000 pounds (Sorry this an American typewriter and doesn't have a pound sign) International Orange award for new writers which aims, partly, to boost short stories.
The award, funded by Arts Council England, is open to first time women authors of published novels, short stories and novellas.'
