A different aspect of roads or ways are Buddhas. Who like Christ become a way for others to tread. Perhaps all roads lead to Rome (enlightenment?) but have different beginnings. I used to think that the road was an eccentric spiral which ultimately leads to a central still point ie. when you have exhausted your impetus you remain content in the middle - like a manic/depressive who has found balance between the two extremes. Can't explain better than that. What do you think Sky?

I agree with you about the poem Sky. I also think that how you stay on the road is more important than which road you choose. Of course how you stay on the road is part of the choosing the road. Do you think most roads run in circles or is that just the walker? Perhaps it's just me!
