I've never read any of hers is she any good?
I have to confess vicky, I haven't read any either! I just saw the announcement in the local paper and posted it in case anybody else was interested.
i think she is often referred to as writing "aga sagas"
they are easy to read though. Mum loves them...
Yes so does my mum...but what an unfortunate name!
better than marge slutte though?
There's a plumber is the Chelmsford area who drives around in a large sign-written van with his name in large lettering. it always makes me chuckle when i see it. His name? Brian Badcock!
I think he should get medical advice!
Any other amusing REAL names?
Someone in America on telly this morning talking about shaker furniture, his name was Christian Goodwillie.
I know of a certain family where I live who go by the name 'lovegrove'.
There is also a street in Edinburgh called 'cockburn' but posh people always pronouce it coburn!
Lot's of peculiar place names in the UK, but this one takes the biscuit.
Upper Pratts Bottom
Honest!
