Great new DVDs

Annoyingly, I've only just found a present I really want two days after Christmas.

Three music video directors who are all fantastic have got their videos collected on DVDs.

Michael Gondry, french guy, directed Bjork - hyperballad, joga, bachelorette videos - all astonishing. The fab "Around the world" daft punk video. The White Stripes video where it's all done in Lego. Lots of others - Radiohead - knives out vid where Thom is part of the Operation board game. Chemical Brothers, Kylie etc. All so good. Inventive, witty, ingenious.

Chris Cunningham, Londoner -has done the scary Aphex Twin 'come to daddy' video and the hilariously choreographed 'windowlicker' video. Bjork 'all is full of love' video where two robots get intimate - it's great.

And Spike Jonze (directed - Being John Malkovich) who, in my opinion, isn't quite up to the standard of the other two but still great. Fat boy slim videos - the cool one with dancing Christopher Walken. Bjork - its oh so quiet. Beastie Boys - sabotage and the wonderful Weezer - Buddy Holly video set in the Happy Days restaurant.

Luckily my birthdays not far off...

The only music videos I have is a 2-disc series of David Bowie videos ... they're quite interesting. The best part is that it came with "Jazzin' For Blue Jean" as an Easter Egg, which is a 20-minute short film that I believe David won his only Grammy for.
