Off to Stockhom via Lichfield

Just about to set off for Lichfield with youngest. We'll find a cheap motel near there and arrive at the rubgy club at 10 a.m for the biggest day of her life - the regional finals and England selection. Ooer, is she nervous or what?

Then it'll be a late drive back on Sunday night then up early and off to Stockholm for the finals of the Stockhom Challenge for ABC!

We get to know if we've won (I doubt it somehow) on Thusrday night but I will keep you up to date on developments as they are giving me a computer and an ADSL line in the conference hall so that all these bigwigs can read your posts.

So here I am in sunny Stockholm. A big welcome to you all. Daughter played a blinder and we won the National Championships! Yes, a national champion in the family. Dad is very proud! She played in every game, made some huge hits when we played a very strong South West side and it was all utterly glorious. Now I'll start a new thread and tell you of my adventures representing you all in Sweden.

Good luck, both to your youngest and ABCtales. On Saturday we went to see Saracens beat London Irish at the Madejski Stadium. As we were the away fans we only occupied a small pocket of the ground, but the team came over afterwards and applauded us (while we applauded them) for a full five minutes. Nice atmosphere at a rugby game.
