Don, He can't get the death penalty because all the crimes were committed before Kansas had the death penalty. But he can be put behind bars forever...at least we can hope that's what happens. I see that he worked for the country as a dog catcher. Oh dear, could there be a worse cliche? 'Can't get elected dog catcher' because a seriel killer already has the job.

It'll be interesting to see where the trial takes place ... I bet it'll be in Denver.

Damn, I was about to post up something congratulating Jasper for actually making me laugh for the first time since he arrrived. I did recently pick up a file where a child was said to be 'suffering from asparagus syndrome' - I love the idea of some hard-pressed chemists looking at test-tubes of green liquid to diagnose that.
