My soundbite to Blair

Blair loves his soundbites, so here's mine to him, 'you've fucked up big time, now fuck off'.

Many of us against the war said from the start that launching an attack in the Middle East was like throwing a lighted firework into a petrol tank. Experts on the region warned Blair about this repeatedly. He ignored them, went ahead and attacked a country that had not attacked us, using lies to make his case.

Now on top of all the carnage he and Bush have caused in Iraq (tens of thousands of civilians killed, scores of British soldiers dead) we have 56 Londoners who, but for Blair, would still be alive today. Rubbing salt into the wound he told us the other day we should all carry on business as usual. Like he so fucking bravely does with his armed security guards, bullet proof vests, ring of steel around Downing Street etc etc.

And he's still insisting there's no link between Iraq and the current terror campaign. Funny that when his own security services have said as much in a recent leaked report and when the Muslim council of the UK have stated that directly to him. It's clear Blair is living in a world of make believe and denial - the last thing we need from a PM right now.

Blair is right. There is no link between Iraq and these current attacks on London and elsewhere in Europe. The game is thus: Blair and Bush want to invade all of the Arab nations because their total GNP is not co-dependent on the free market system which supports and provides more capitalist nations with further avenues for expansion, profit, and reproduction. The Arab Nations are more alike self sufficient Principalities whom drain Eurocentric profits by the provision of oil, and Multinationals in the US and Britain are in dire need of both their resources and market patronage. The only way the Arabs will let go of their present independence is via Bush strumming up all these minor squirmishs worldwide so it gives him some kind of demented leverage - via the axis of evil - to start a war with them all! But mind you, Bush and Blair are puppets in this game! Iraq is nothing more than a micro diversion ... another Vietnam if you like! So keep you eye on the big picture and watch the Americans get their arses kicked into oblivion when both the Russians and Chinese step in to halt them dead in their tracks. Russia, China, and even the French clearly warned the U.S. after their fist attack on Iraq, that they will not tolerate such genocidal agenda's in the Middle East. You are witnessing the changing of the guard, a Global Civil revolution, with reference to present global domination under a guise of benefical modernity... in the name of Democracy, my arse! So just kick back and watch the show ... it's a real epic in the making this one! Captialism is about to die ... and well about bloody time too!

fateful - Saddam could have avoided war by taking up the very generous offer of exile. That he chose instead to drag his country into an unwinnable conflict in the hope of igniting the region is evidence of a dictator living in a make believe world of denial (And please don't say the US-UK attacked a democratically elected government). As for the recent outrages in London: As far as I'm aware, Tony Blair didn't plant any bombs on the underground - religious fanatics, whose utopian vision of the world includes illiterate women and summary execution for non-believers, did so. Neither did Blair mistakenly shoot an innocent Brazilian. As I've said before, we've been in conflict/at war with Iraq for the past 14 years or so - well before Blair became PM. As the Lawnmower points out: there's a much bigger picture to look at.

There are no terrorists other than Government and the agents of Government. The only benign ruler is a dead one.

I'm with you in that we live in times where shoot to kill is unfortunately something we have to accept. What I won't accept is if it is done when there is any margin for error. For example, if a suspect comes out of a block of flats rather than a specific flat that is being targetted, that the only reason he looks suspicious is his choice of outer wear, that he looks, perhaps, a bit "dark". If they were certain he was their man why did they let him get on a bus first. Too, too woolly.
