Father whats the point by Little Ditty

this poem to me sums up the current feeling of two civilizations seeming to be miles apart- two seperate circles - but it is hopeful - there is a point where two circles can overlap - and we find the differences are not really differences at all.

Not sure if this was the intended meaning - but it meant a lot to me and i learnt something new: 'Vesica Piscis now i know what it means'.
