Sir Bob
I have a lot more respect for Sir Bob than I do Sir Henry. I mean, what did Sir Henry really do anyway? He failed completely at top level, made a couple of Old Spice and Brut commercials, and sat on a few quiz teams. It seems that all you need do to get a knighthood is to keep yourself in the public eye.
Sir Henry has made a career out of one left hook - the one that floored Muhammed Ali - that's stood him in good stead for the past 30 years. Not bad. Just think, without that punch he'd be a nobody now. Surely people who've actually won world titles in boxing are more deserving of a knighthood.
The actual "Girl From Ippinema", the one who walked past the songwriter on the beach, has built a whole career around having a song written about her. Good luck to her.
Anyway, back to Sir Bob. His book "Is That It?" must surely be in my top twenty. If you haven't read it, it really is a much better book than you can imagine. Well worth a read.
However, does he look ill or what? He's been interviewed a couple of times recently on telly, and is looking decidedly rough. Rougher than normal, I mean. His eyes are all jaundiced and he obviously needs a good night's kip. What on earth is wrong with the geezer? He's like a little old man.
