Over-sensitive?

I'm sure you've all noticed how sensitive Andrew is about his name, what with Spag using variations ad lib. I don't for a second think he was trying to upset Andrew, just that Andrew is very sensitive about his name. Why I can't imagine, he should have to live with mine!

Anyway, have any of you had to suffer names you hated, and if so why?

A lot of my mates used to call me 'wog' when I was a youngster, on account of my predilection for Turkish cigarettes! I hated it and found the term insulting, not just to me, but to any body. I gave up smoking 17yrs ago, but not because of the name!

They used to call me 'Randy Andy' at school. Can't think why...

Oops, that's supposed to be Niomi, not Nio. Right one I am to complain about people misprouncing my name - I can't even spell the mispronounciation!
