hey people,
has anyone picked up a hard copy of ABCtales from the Body Shop? because I have, and apart from a few poems, I didn't recognise anything from the site at all. *confused*
Also, there doesn't seem to be a writer of the week anymore. does that mean everyone's had a go?

On holiday in late May, I checked whether various Body Shops were carrying the mag. Full marks to Doncaster, with a prominent and varied display. None to Peterborough, Brum or Wolverhampton. It's very patchy..

Absolutely nothing, AJ. Great place, the first place I took a solo holiday in. I was there in May for the excellent Donny Beer Festival - one of the best - which has recently moved to the racecourse from that leisure centre place. (The Dome?) See you there next year??

Hi,
All the stories and poems in ABCtales magazine are taken from the site (except anything by celebs) and we do a few other interviews and features just for the mag. If stories in the magazine aren't on the site any more, it's probably because people removed them after the mag was published.
Re: writer of the week, it's still there. I took over as editor this week so there have been a few bits of handover stuff that needed sorting but once I have the interview through from the person we've picked for next week (which I'm expecting to get tomorrow) normal service will be resumed...

It's a mystery to me too - I've seen some poetry from the site, and Karl's very well-known "Kai" in print, but always thought that much of the rest had appeared out of thin air!
ps - What's happened to the mag? Distribution was always patchy, unfortunately, but I've not seen a new edition for a couple of months now.

Always look for the mag when I go to Aylesbury but its never in the body shop there.
So does that mean they don't all carry it :-(
