This idea came up on the 'What makes you blush thread' but I didn't want it buried there 'cos it interests me so goddamn much.

You know how things always happen to you in the wrong order? What do you think would have happened if you'd have met your mistress before your wife, married her (your mistress, stupid) then met your wife. Would your, for example, have tried to start an affair with your wife or what? When answering, please try hard to remember how you felt when you first met your wife otherwise the whole bloody thread might not work.

Obviously this is a gender-sensitive thread so it goes without saying the negative (as in 'photograph', not as in 'opposite of positive') female image also applies. Don't want the bloody feminists all over my case do I?

For those of you who claim never to have been unfaithful please leave the thread now to avoid coming across as 'holier-than-thou.'

By all means feel free to discuss any other 'it happened in the wrong order' scenarios.

But does the corollary apply, as in Is a man who is untrue to his wife an intellectual. For example, Jim Davidson who I believe has been untrue to his wife on the odd occassion. Some more wise words: To thine own self be true, then thou canst be false to no man (or woman, I guess)

I only really like big questions, fish Don't mean to offend. Could be some other time warp thing too if you like. Anyway, my guess is nobody will answer this though I can't believe that all ABCers are 100% faithfully. I mean even statistically it's not really possible is it? I'm off now to check out 'holier than thou'
