New Writers

Hello to all of the new writers that have joined us over Christmas or just before. Great to have you all here, and this is a startling crop; lots of outstanding work.

I'm enjoying 80% of everything that comes in at the moment, but particular highlights of the new people are : Dante, Flutter85, charliegirl65, jenn, oyazabel, tin crystal and just today, Dair and Nearside.

Regulars on the site, don't stick to your old favourites (though Tom Saunders is really sizzling at the moment), try some of the newcomers, give them some feedback.

In my opinion yes Robert - I'm staggered by some of the quality coming in - whether this is a result of the good writers on other sites having got chatting to roving abcers, or whether we're just very lucky, I'm just chuffed. New strong writing is good for the site and especially good for the strong writers we've already got. Shakes up everyone's little mental top-tens and means everyone has to raise their game. I'm now going to add Michael Cho and LDoolan, both of whom are fantastic, modern real and vivid.

I'm finding it hard enough to discover old favourites at the moment (essays and dissertations and stuff to do) but i'll take a look at some of those names.

Andrew Greetings one and all, modern, new, old and ancient writers working towards the same goal ... translating experiences, adding that something special to the invisible and the intangible. The new blood in the veins of this site has certainly revived me. With team getting fresher and stronger understanding what makes human condition tick, the competitive world of words is becoming ABCTales' oyster (sory fish). Gee there is a lot to catch up with after the holidays among dingos in the habit of pinching shoes. Now I know why dingos are not able to bark. How could they, after experiencing the undesirable Slavic aroma of cheese and leather. Warmly Jozef
