Yes, I've moved on. Well, not moved on (impossible to do so without a resolution) but learned not to give a crap. But it's difficult not to comment when someone who accused me of being a bully (and won't apologise) is showing himself up as both a bully and a baby. And in fairness to Ralph, he's put up with a lot of stick recently without saying a dicky bird...so I think he's entitled to his say on the matter. Take your feelings of discomfort about this topic, times it by about ten, and you'll get an idea how uncomfortable I am about the shite he gets about ancient apologised-for history.

I have no intention of making multiple posts to this thread, so I'll cover all the points just the once here. Whether you like it or not I have a right to defend myself and shall do so. Ralphism:- Truth:- Ralph made a nasty accusation against me ans said it was supported by several others including a member of the management. This is a complete fabrication, he has NOT admitted lying in spite of testimony to the contrary. My 'attacking' amounted to a defence in language that he understands, eloquent argument goes right over his head. Ralphism:- Truth:- I was asked about my feelings concerning ralph by several friends and i stated i wouldn't be staying to here him. Nothing to do with 'childish' but an excercising of my rights. Ralphism:- Truth:- At no point has Ralph ever issued a personal apology to me over anything, in spite of the fact that on a number of occasions his nastiness has been directed at no one but me. Ralphism:- Truth:- It's Ralphs opinion, and that is of no importance to me whatsoever, nor that of any of the other hitchikers here. Thompson keeps whinging on about me not apologising to him, well he will have to wait until hell freezes over because I meant every syllable of every comment I ever made about him. I have absolutely nothing to apologise for. (If Ralph feels the same way about me, fine, but don't whinge if I refuse to have anything to do with you.) He also keeps harping on about my so called 'financial support' for the site being some kind of 'protection' for me on the site. Yeah right. If this is the case he can avail himself of the same protection by mailing a cheque for £5 every time there is a 'do' as he calls them. He's only jumping on the Ralphmobile because he was made to look a prat last time out, and he's looking for revenge. Elf, those that really know me will be aware that my comment to Harold was supposed to be humourous too. That's it, I don't care who has the last word but I suspect it will be the diminuitive lad with the big dick and small brain, who sometimes cross-dresses and calls himself Rachel.

No no no this won't do... These Gentleman seemingly have genuine grievances and this artificial forget and let live business just doesn't work IMO... History teaches us these things if not resolved properly just fester in the unconcious (Jung, ahem) then come back to haunt (bore) us with greater force when we least expect it... In more civilized days the proper channels to expunge this sort of dispute once and for all was through the Duel.... I propose we should bring back this tradition on this forum here and since you are both writers your tools of choice should be words... yes words.. but not bludgeoning swear words and endless self justifications... we expect an effort at wit and humour and reason and intelligent put downs to accompany the point you are making: Here are the rules: 1) A new Slanging Duel Thread devoted purely to your dispute... 2) Strict alternate posts from the protagonists (restricted to 50 words please) 3) No references to living relatives allowed.. Tho ancestors once removed allowed.. (eg You come from a long line of short arsed donkeys etc) 4) Comfy seats, tea and biscuits for the rest of us please.. and the freedom to butt in and indicate our pleasure or displeasure as we see fit without being attacked by the protagonists (doing this just shows the weakness of your position).. 5) Anything else goes.. tho remember it is real humour that will warm the audience to you... As this unfolds, the sympathies of the witnesses, us the audience will become clearer.. After all this is what the protagonists are really after by airing their grievances so publicly in the first place... I mean why did they not settle it in the bog at Extra Time by a pissing competition or somesuch.. A word of advice: The protagonists should remember that it is real humour not the desperate variety ('real' being that ability to see the ridiculousity in ourselves) ...that is the great leveller and may be the beginnings of a true reconciliation.. Well, Ralph, I certainly don't hate you. And were I in Karl or Missi's position, I think I'd forgive you - but since there was a period where you were extremely duplicit, in a hurtful way, it's not unnatural that they don't want to. That's just the way some things work. There are people around who are very good at being nasty, then apologising, then going right back to being nasty, and those who easily forgive can be taken in again and again. I for one believe that you genuinely want to make things right, but I can understand why Karl and Missi aren't easily prepared to give you a second chance. I don't think it necessarily makes them childish - I've known a couple of pretty decent people who've taken a fervent disliking to me. I do think, however, that the anonymous insulting of you - the spiteful trolling - should be put to an end by whoever is involved.
