£85 for a clean bill of health
I need a med form filled in and there is no way anyone would employ me or let me within 100 yards of their offices if they saw my NHS records.
No problem - I contacted medicentre private GPs in London and they will sign the form following a pre-employment medical (cost £85) so as long as I am in good health "now" I am ok. Seems to good to be true. Is it? (where is Andrew when you need him)
I do autographs for 50 quid, Jude.
I'll sell myself for a number of things...
God already knows, j :o)
God will not be processing my application.
Have you considered you might be following the wrong vocation, Jude?
I think Neil maybe right and you ought to be considering life as a Conservative politician :) God processes everyone's application.
[%sig%]
This is actually for my 6 month teaching contract in Weymouth. And no, I have no doubts that I'm going down the right path
I guessed that Jude, but I was hoping to make you consider whether anyone with a true vocation would be wondering whether to cheat and lie to get the job. I realise that being honest might be costly but I thought that was the whole point of religion - a belief that gives you the strength to do what's right.
Still with Bush talking to God every day and Blair being a good upstanding Christian too - it's obvious that there must have been lots of changes since I was a kid and people still believed in Thou shalt not kill etc.
In fact do any of the 10 COMMANDMENTS still apply?
I suppose not: it's please yourself, feel vaguely guilty every now and then, and blame everything on other people - if only they followed our example we would need to blow them up (they could do it themselves)!
Obviously that should read: we would NOT need to blow them up - they could do it themselves!
Casting the first stone....
More about casting votes, Smillie...
