Fuzzy Felt

We've just put an interactive learning tool on our website for primary school kids. They have to drag and drop clothing on the virtual dude .... the original title was "fuzzy-felt.." then I realised that today's 5-7 year olds have probably never played with fuzzy felt or have they?

Anyway... I have to create some material for Keystage 1 kids ... to help them learn about life choices. As well as online tools ... what do todays younguns like in the classrooms. Is cut-out-and-stick-and-colour too passe or will kids always enjoy such activities?
Can you recommend anything else...

help!!! thanks

ok...with Liana's persuasion... (thanks for comments Pesky!) http://www.ukpriest.org/interact_fuzzy.htm I'm trying to create some hard copies along these lines for KS1 kids.. struggling I'm not the teachy type!!

The 'model' isn't a genuine pp. The 'sacred vessels' (chalice, ciborium thurible etc.) are a good idea

Oh anything where you stick anything to anything is definitely a hit at that age.
My youngest is 4, nearly 5. He loves cuting and pasting, he loves building models out of recycled boxes, painting, flour dough and tapping those wood bits into a cork board with little nails. I suppose all the stuff we remember is still in the classrooms, it's just that there is a bank of computers lurking in the corner. Hope this is of some help. PS I agree with Pesky. I had a look at the site, it needs some more bits and pieces to retain interest. I will show my 10 year old later and see what she thinks.
Ha, ha! I love it. The priest looks like either a used car salesman, or that he's got a pube caught in the elastic of the legholes in his pants... I particularly like the explanation of the Latin derivatives. Interesting! But I agree with the above comments about it needing a little more pizazz. Maybe some music? Maybe the priest can say a few Latinate words each time you put a piece of clothing on him?
