For 17 years, until 5 years ago. I burnt out in the end, most of us did unless we got promoted. But I kept my humanity to the end, I never became bitter or twisted as many did. Unemployment in Wales was always high, and the concept of working was alien to many families. That's why I enjoyed your story so much.
