Watched the piece on TV about the murder of Stephen
Cameron by Kenneth Noye.
It left me with a few tears running down my face for Daielle
Cable, it certainly turned her world upside down at only
20yrs old, she looked so sad and lonely when she had to be
moved away from all for her own safety also how brave she
was when it was needed.
Did anyone else watch it if so any opinions?...
Back to Jay, no, i am still around...just moved house and town... :o)
I was watching it Jay, though I dont watch much TV at all. I was doing my packing at the same time, so bin bags abounded. I was quite enjoying it, though I kept getting distracted by the old "what WAS she in???"
Anyway, about 45 mins into it, my mum rushed in to make me turn over so I could see the (assured by her) headline news of a major fire in Lincolnshire.. and as she hung around at the door, I felt obliged to do so. After 20 minutes of watching more real news, Look North came on, and I had seen that there was a kitchen fire in a restuarant in Chapel St Leonards, which had spread to an amusement arcade... both have to be demolished (such a shame for the tourists ho ho) I did TRY to get back into the play, but all was lost...
How did it finish?
she was the young girl with the baby in Corrie that the bloke with the squeaky voice looked after before he settled with the bimbo who got scalped by the mass murderer.
I wondered what happened to her!
Sorry, Jay, didn't get home until late last night and then had to do a load of stuff on the computer for my other half - who is computer-challenged!
Have just put computer on, have noted what you all have
said but for once!! I have a vistor coming shortly but watch
this space as I will be back to put you in the picture unless
before that somebody else has done it before me.
Believe me it was well!!! worth watching...
Oh yesssssss
cheers ely
been bugging me ever since that has!
I'm reading a book at the moment "Life After Life" which interviews a dozen murderers who are now out of prison on lisence. And the funny thing is that without exception all of these lifers started their day just like any other and then went on to kill someone. Frightening.
I've always believed that in the world of decision making, whether to kill someone or not is only a few short strides from "tea or coffee?".
Like the two or three feet that separate the safety of the pavement and the path of the truck, it's a simple step most of us never choose to take.
which is why the death sentence will never work as a deterrent of course...
Gosh, look at the time.. night all. Do hope I dont murder anyone tomorrow, i have to move house.
Liana are you moving to a different part of the county or
just down the road, come to think of it don't know what part
of the country you live now.
Hope you're not leaving us!! on here altogether as that
would make me feel down right desolate so as soon as you
can please!! reasure me on this by putting your name up in
LIGHT'S the BIGGER the BRIGHTER the BETTER...
Well, I think Liana's gone to bed...I'm on Easter holidays so I'm still up twiddling my thumbs..so allow me to reassure you, Jay, that where-ever Liana is moving to, her computer will be moving with her.
*ponders the modern marvel that is the internet*
Paul because of a couple of ups and downs we have had in
the past I have never thought of you as mister nice guy but
maybe by your above post which I have only just read and
thankyou very much for.
Certinly although it is early days it has got me thinking that
there could after all be more to the saying never judge a
book by it cover...
;-)
Back to the original docu-drama. Did anybody else notice that when the Witness Protection mob placed her in her dingy apartment in the empty house how dark it was outside? You could tell because the burglar lights came on as they scurried up the drive.
However, by the time she'd checked the flat out - five minutes in total - it was a glorious summer's day. That's the fastest sunrise I've ever seen!
