Thanx ABC - but Bold edit?

thanx to all at ABC for great work on new system- however- and it may just be me - (leave it Liana :-) but when I tried to 'embolden' one of my titles - it looked bold on edit page but afterwards - and I did 'save' I think - no bold?

anyway thanks again - long term - this is gonna be great I'm sure

Laundry, As I said elsewhere, I drive a Triumph Herald, 1199cc 1967 two-door. I can't get SMS messages on the odometer. Help, before I have a break-down. Shirt.

trouser browsers? what a load of bollacks. the wysiwyg doesn't work. stop asking what browsers we use and get it up to scratch. this is dismal.

Sorry elf, I know it isn't your fault, I was in a grump after spending an hour and a half trying (and failing) to get a piece to look ok. During that time I had to reboot 3 times due to my browser freezing during the edit process. I've just tried to edit again and this time I get a message saying IE cannot access the edit page so I've deleted the poem and will try again later. I put a test piece up last night. Can you see the bold, italics and small font? I can't. When I said wysiwyg doesn't work I meant that it doesn't matter how you make a piece look in the editor, it looks totally different after it has uploaded, therefore it isn't wys. The font comes out large; bold and italics do not work (whether pasted in or by using the editor functions); everything is double spaced unless you spend an age doing this (as I did last night): write in size10 font, paste into editor, save as draft, press edit, go through the piece line by line and remove spacing, press return to create line break. The work then looks almost normal unlike everything else submitted to the site at the moment which, to me, looks horrible. A line in a poem can look fine in the editor yet when uploaded the last word or two of a line often get kicked one line down which makes the poem look naff. A random check through the last 100 shows me that many others have these problems unless, of course, it is my browser that is naff and, to the rest of the world, the site looks brilliant. I use Aol 8.0 or IE 6.0 build 2600.0000 and W98 4.10 build 2222 None of these problems are new. I've mentioned them many times in the forum and in an email to Tony who added them to his list for Tav to look into. If anyone else reads this thread I'd be grateful if you could let me know (either here or by email) how the site looks on your screen and if your stories/poems look how you intended or am I the only one with these problems?

Oh well, guess it's only me then. Thanks for the advice elf. *note to self: try to be less sarcastic on the threads*

Works fine for me, as you can see above. :-) The WYSIWYG editor is pretty much like word, select and click or select and C-B (Control-B for bold)...
