Assistance politely requested

I can't seem to get a story to upload, but I'm happy to wait on that until the techie guys have got it all sorted.

Anyway, I'm at the midpoint in a novel which has turned out to be utterly different to the book I was expecting to write at the beginning. It's my usual knack of writing a book that I'd like to read, but I'm having some doubts as to whether anyone else would ever want to read it...

Would anyone be prepared to have a look at it and give me their views? If you hated all my previous stuff, then this isn't going to convert you, but I do want an honest opinion. I can do it by way of a very small sample, which will give a flavour.

Basically the book goes between fairly realistic thriller about two brothers (conjoined twins, one of whom becomes a hitman for the mob - this is the 'straight' bit) to some fairly wild flights of imagination.

I don't normally abuse the forums in this way, but after so long using abc and thoughtcafe it is quite odd writing in a vacuum; and of course I'm more than happy to do the same for someone else.
